Chris Jones tacked on two more sacks to his Hall of Fame résumé this past weekend to bring his career total to 80 ½, which is the seventh-most among active NFL players and fourth-most in Kansas City history.
Jones made six tackles in the Chiefs' 19-17 win over Las Vegas, which tied for the second most on the team, to go along with his two tackles for loss and two quarterback hurries.
Pro Football Focus (PFF) ranks the former Mississippi State standout with the top defensive (86.6) and pressure (90.8) grades for Kansas City this season. Jones' pressure grade is the highest among all interior defensive linemen in the NFL and his overall defensive grade ranks fourth at his position.
Cornerback Martin Emerson also finished tied for second on Cleveland's defense with six tackles during Week 13. Emerson earned the No. 2 tackling grade (80.0) on the Browns, which also ranked ninth in the NFL at his position this past week.
Jeffery Simmons (Tennessee) and Decamerion Richardson (Las Vegas) both finished third on their respective teams in tackles during Week 13. Simmons recorded nine stops while Richardson made five solos.
Simmons has the top pressure grade for the Titans this season at 75.5, which also ranks 10th among interior linemen in the NFL. He also has the second-best overall defensive grade on the team in 2024 at 73.5.
Preston Smith recovered a fumble for Pittsburgh while Montez Sweat graded out with Chicago's third-highest pressure grade in Week 13.
Charles Cross started at left tackle and logged all 64 offensive snaps for Seattle and earned the best pass-blocking grade among the Seahawks' offensive linemen at 78.0. Cross has the highest pass-blocking (80.6) and run-blocking (75.6) grades on the team this season and his overall offensive grade of 82.1 ranks second.
Elgton Jenkins also played all 54 offensive snaps as Green Bay's starting left guard last week. Jenkins ranks third among all guards in the NFL with an 81.6 pass blocking grade this year.
Jacksonville's Logan Cooke punted four times for a 47.8-yard average, pinning two inside the 15-yard line. Cooke continues to have the best career net punting average in NFL history at 43.8 yards and is currently tied for third in the league with a 90.1 punting grade in 2024.
J.T. Gray tallied a tackle on special teams for New Orleans this past week and sports the Saints' No. 1 special teams grade this season at 90.5, which is also ranks ninth in the league.
Former first-round draft pick Emmanuel Forbes was waived by Washington on Nov. 30 and was claimed by the Rams on Monday.
