LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Mississippi State Bulldogs dropped Wednesday night's matchup against the No. 12 Kentucky Wildcats in three sets.

Karli Schmidt and Amina Shackelford led the Bulldog attack in the contest, as they picked up a eight and seven kills, respectively. Arissa Smith led the team with a .250 hitting percentage.

State turned to two setters in the contest against the Wildcats: Ceci Harness and Cayley Hanson. Harness led the duo with 13 assists, while Hanson finished with eight.

McKenna Yates led the team with 11 digs. This marked the fifth straight match that she freshman tallied double-digit digs. She has cracked double-digits in eight of the last nine contest for State.

The Bulldogs return to Newell-Grissom for senior day as they take on the No. 25 Missouri Tigers in their final home match of the year. First serve is set for 2 p.m. on SECN+.
