FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – For the second consecutive season, the Mississippi State women's golf team finished the Blessings Collegiate Invitational in second place. Individually, Julia Lopez Ramirez finished in second as well.
Â
In the final day of action at the Blessings, Lopez Ramirez tied her season-best round of 6-under par. The senior fired off a team-best five birdies, just on the back nine, to secure the runner-up spot. In the last three seasons, Lopez Ramirez has won an individual title and been runner-up twice at the Blessings, with her individual title coming in 2022.
Â
Avery Weed picked up a top-10 finish at the Blessings after finishing the tournament with a three-day total of 6-over par. Weed finished the final round at 1-over to pick up her second top-10 finish of the season.
Â
Chiara Horder finished right outside of the top 10 at 8-over par.
