Soccer Earns Fifth Consecutive United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – United Soccer Coaches announced on Wednesday the College Team Academic Award winners, recognized for their exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2022-23 academic year.
For the fifth consecutive season, the Bulldogs have earned the United Soccer Coaches' Team Academic Award. The Bulldogs have now earned the recognition 13 times since its inception in 1996, and six times in the last eight years.
This past season, Head Coach James Armstrong and his staff led the Bulldogs to success on the field as well as in the classroom. The Bulldogs recorded a 3.58 grade-point average as a team during the 2022-23 academic season, improving from the 3.55 GPA from the year prior. . Under Armstrong, the Bulldogs have won the award each season.Â
