February 19, 2023 | Women's Golf
Las Vegas, Nev.– The 6th-ranked Mississippi State women's golf squad is set to return to the course for the second event of the Spring portion of its season on Monday where they will tee off at The Show. The two-day event will begin Monday, Feb. 20th, and run through Tuesday.
Spanish Trail Country Club will set the stage for the 54-hole stroke play event. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr, Spanish Trail is a spectacular course that features strategically placed lakes, waterfalls and streams sprinkled throughout the all-grass course; these features, in addition to 120 bunkers, create a new challenge at every hole. Jones' green complexes are a highlight to any round played on any of the nines. Collection points for shots missing the greens create challenging pitches and chips, in addition, deep bunkers provide further difficulty for wayward approaches.
