Walk Named To CSC Academic All-District Team

STARKVILLE – Mississippi State volleyball saw Rebecca Walk named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.
The 2023 Academic All-District volleyball teams, selected by College Sport Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their performances on the court and in the classroom.
Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First, second and third team Academic All-American honorees will be announced Jan. 9, 2024.
Walk received her bachelor's degree in business administration with a focus in finance last weekend with a 3.76 GPA. The Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, native earned this honor last season from CSC and was selected to the 2022 SEC Fall Academic honor roll.
On the court Walk has been a force at the net. The senior saw action in 24 matches, while starting in all 24 matches. Walk recorded 141 kills on a .354 this season, which ranked fourth in the SEC.
Defensively, Walk tallied 75 blocks for the season and ranked second on the squad in blocks.
