"Cayley is an experienced and polished setter that brings physicality and size to our setting position, which is something that we are really excited about," Dennis said. "She has played at a high level with her club team and has gone deep into the state tournament in Texas with her high school team, so she is a proven winner. Cayley loves to compete and is a super hard worker."
From Hanson's freshman to senior year (2020-23), her high school team went undefeated in their district. During her freshman year in 2020, Hanson was named Newcomer of the Year, followed by being named Setter of the Year her sophomore year in 2021. Hanson was selected the MVP of the district in 2022 and 2023.
For her high school career, Hanson broke the school record by earning 2,000 plus assists while also collecting 1,093 digs.
In 2023, Hanson helped Houston Skyline become the Open Division Bronze Medalist and 2021 National Division Silver Medalist. Individually, she was named Offensive Player of the Year in 2021 and 2022 and selected to the All-Tournament Team at nationals in 2021.
"She is going to make an impact on our offense and our setter position as soon as she steps into our gym," Dennis said. "She is an awesome teammate and friend to everyone she meets. I am excited to coach her for the next four years."
Academically, Hanson was in the top five percent of her class, which included 992 students. She was also a part of Mu Alpha Theta all throughout her high school career.

"Noella is a bouncy, athletic and high-flying right side," Dennis said. "She has a lot of potential and is super dynamic. She was formerly a middle that we saw some potential to move to the right side and make a good impact here. We are really excited about her coming in and adding depth to our right side position. We have had a lot of success on that pin in the past and we know that is a strength. We want to continue to recruit those type of players that can score points on that pin."
Obi helped her high school team become Regional Champions in 2022 and District Champions in 2023. She also helped her team reach state tournament twice.
Obi was selected to the All-Regional team and All-District team from 2021-23, while also earning Player of the Year in 2023.
For her high school career, Obi tallied 1,074 kills. On the academic side, Obi earned a spot on the honor roll all four years (2020-23) of high school.
On the club circuit, Obi helped Mid-TN Volleyball club reach nationals twice.
"She is one of the sweetest and kindest people you have ever met," Dennis said. "She is going to be a great teammate and a great addition to our locker room."
