State No. 21 in United Soccer Coaches’ Latest Rankings

STARKVILLE – Unbeaten through its first 11 matches, the Mississippi State soccer program has landed in the United Soccer Coaches' Top 25, coming in at No. 21, the highest ranking in program history.
The announcement comes after graduate defender Gwen Mummert was named to College Soccer News' Team of the Week and sophomore transfer Haley McWhirter was an honorable mention in Top Drawer Soccer's Team of the Week.
State prepares for its second conference road match of the season on Friday, Sept. 30, at Missouri (4-5-1, 1-2-0 SEC). Kickoff against the Tigers is set for 7 p.m. CT, and the match will be broadcast on SEC Network+.
