State No. 21 in Top Drawer Soccer’s Latest Rankings

STARKVILLE – Following an unbeaten non-conference schedule and an upset victory over then-No. 14 Arkansas to open conference play, the Mississippi State soccer program has landed in the top-25 of Top Drawer Soccer's Week 6 rankings, coming in at No. 21.
The announcement comes after standout freshman Maggie Wadsworth was named the SEC's Freshman of the Week in back-to-back weeks. The Flowery Branch, Georgia, native was also named College Soccer News' National Player of the Week after her two-goal performance against the Razorbacks propelled MSU to a 7-0-2 record to start its 2022 campaign - the second-best start to a season in program history.
State prepares for its first conference road match of the season on Thursday, Sept. 22, at Texas A&M (5-2-2). Kickoff against the Aggies is set for 7 p.m. CT, and the match will be broadcast on SEC Network+.
