Regular-Season Road Stretch Concludes for Bulldogs

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The four-meet road stretch officially ended Saturday for the Mississippi State track and field program. The second day of the Crimson Tide Invite featured both a new season best from Reese Dunne (2:02.18 | men's 800m) and a new personal best from Cathrina Morris (1:00.80 | women's 400m hurdles).

Gabriel Moronta and Samuel Smith both finished in the top 18 of the men's 400m hurdles, while Gram Russell (fourth) and Colby Freeman (fifth) each ran to a top-five collegiate finish in the men's 5000m unseeded race.

MSU will close its regular season for the 2022 outdoor campaign, at home, next week (April 29-30) for the Maroon and White Invite. The meet will also feature a senior-class recognition.
