Purcell on Johnson
"I'm so excited to be able to add Asianae Johnson to our team for this upcoming season! She was one of the first phone calls we made as a staff, and she believed in our message and our vision from the first time we spoke. Asianae will be attending grad school at Mississippi State following her graduation at St. Bonaventure here in a few weeks, and I know she is ready for this next step in her career, and she has big goals for this season that includes getting to the NCAA Tournament. She's such a joy to talk to on and off the court, and I know the fans will accept her with open arms and see why she is such a special player and person."
