Lopez Ramirez and Levi Secure Top-10 Finishes as Women’s Golf Concludes Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic

ATHENS, Ga. – The Mississippi State women's golf team wrapped up the final round from the 50th edition of the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic on Sunday. State finished ninth with a final tally of 47-over (911).
Freshman Julia Lopez Ramirez used a final-round score of 1-over (73) to bring finish fourth after carding 2-over (218) for the event. Throughout the tournament, Lopez Ramirez rolled in the most birdies with 14. With her fourth-place finish, Lopez Ramirez adds her sixth top-five finish in the ninth collegiate tournament of her career.
Hannah Levi used a strong final round of 2-under (70) to climb up the leaderboard to finish tied for eighth and complete back-to-back top-10 finishes. Levi sunk the second most pars throughout the tournament with 40.
Abbey Daniel finished tied for 55th with a final score of 19-over (235) while Ashley Gilliam finished tied for 69th with a score of 25-over (241).
Blair Stockett rounds out the scoring for the Bulldogs with a score of 30-over (246) to finish 79th.
State will return to the course on April 4th as they will head to Opelika, Ala. to compete in the Auburn Invitational. Pairings and tee times are TBD.
