Malesevic took down the Aggies' only ranked singles competitor in No. 98 Raphael Perot 6-4, 7-6(3). With the win, Malesevic moves to 13-3 during dual match play and leads the team in that category.
Hernandez was also a straight-set winner, downing Matthis Ross 6-3, 6-4.
MSU's Florian Broska, ranked 25th nationally, was upset by Noah Schachter 6-2, 7-6(6). Bautista Vilicich was defeated 6-1, 6-0 by Guido Maron, Gregor Ramskogler lost to Guilio Perego 6-4, 6-0 and Alberto Colas fell to Luke Casper 6-3, 6-4.
Texas A&M also took the doubles point earlier in the day as Schachter and Kenner Taylor topped Broska and Ramskogler 6-2 and Perego and Perot blanked Colas and Hernandez 6-0.
The Aggies remain undefeated in conference play at 3-0 and are 12-6 overall.
"I have to give a lot of credit to A&M," said head coach Matt Roberts. "They served and returned extremely well in doubles and were very consistent in singles. I was pleased with 'Memo' and Carles and how focused and intense they played after the doubles point. We will work very hard this week to improve on what we saw this weekend."
The Bulldogs are back on the road next weekend for a pair of top 10 matchups. The trek starts at No. 7 South Carolina on Friday at 4 p.m. CT and then travel to fourth-ranked Florida next Sunday at noon.
