Fan Information for Weekend Baseball Scrimmages

STARKVILLE – Mississippi State baseball will hold a pair of weekend scrimmages at Dudy Noble Field that are open to the public. Due to ongoing enhancements at various locations in the stadium, fans planning to attend the scrimmages are advised of the following guidelines.

The Diamond Dawgs will scrimmage at 1:20 p.m. on Saturday (Feb. 5) and 12:25 p.m. on Sunday (Feb. 6). State is also scheduled to hold a scrimmage at 2:55 p.m. on Monday. Gates will be open one hour prior to first pitch.Â

The 2022 season gets underway on Feb. 18 when the Diamond Dawgs host Long Beach State in a three-game series at Dudy Noble Field in Starkville.

Mississippi State's 56-game schedule features 32 home games, 20 road contests and four neutral site matchups. The schedule features a pair of lengthy homestands, as Dudy Noble Field hosts an 8-game homestand to open the campaign (Feb. 18-March 1) followed by a nine straight home games from April 5-19.

Stadium Entry/Open Areas
- The Outfield Gate and Right Field Plaza Gate will be OPEN for stadium entry.
- The LF Berm, Standing Drink Rails and Grandstand Seating Section 115 will be OPEN and accessed by using the Outfield Gate to the LF Walkway.
- The RF Berm, Grass Terrace and Standing Drink Rails will be OPEN.
- The RF Grandstand Seating Sections 101, 102, 103 will be OPEN and can be accessed from RF Plaza Gate to the RF Walkway.
- The Outfield Concourse Restrooms will be OPEN.
Restricted Areas
- Due to preseason stadium preparations, the Homeplate Gate and Grandstand Concourse from Section 104 to Section 114 will be CLOSED.
- All Grandstand Concourse Restrooms will be CLOSED.
