
MSU Announces Several Fan Enhancements to The Dude

The 2022 season starts with a 2 p.m. first pitch on Friday, Feb. 18, at The Dude
STARKVILLE – The best stadium in college baseball is getting even better in 2022. Mississippi State's Dudy Noble Field at Polk-Dement Stadium will re-open its gates on Friday with the Maroon and White faithful set to be greeted by a bevy of new in-house features to enhance the overall fan experience.

OPENING WEEKEND PROMOTIONS/GIVEAWAYS

- Friday, Feb. 18 – First 1,000 fans will receive Dawgs Win Again rally towels
- Saturday, Feb. 19 – First 1,500 fans will receive National Championship replica rings
- Sunday, Feb. 20 – First 250 students will receive "Dude Effect" T-shirts upon entry

CONCOURSE UPGRADES
Fans entering Dudy Noble Field for the season opener will immediately notice several updates to the concourse for the new campaign.Â
- Trophy Case – The 2021 National Championship trophy will take center stage with a permanent trophy case installed at the home plate entrance of the stadium.
- Stay Cool – New "high-volume, low-speed" fans have been installed on the concourse to help patrons stay cool while supporting the Diamond Dawgs.

CONCESSION OPTIONS
Food at The Dude is getting even better in 2022 with more concession locations being installed and enhanced just in time for the new season.Â
- Market Style – The two main concession stands underneath the grandstand have been converted to Market Style walk-through locations.
- Grab & Go – A new Grab & Go concession stand is now available to fans in centerfield.
- Taco Stand – Tacos are coming to The Dude in 2022 with a small taco stand now located near the home plate entrance of the stadium.
- Food Trucks – The 2022 season will see the return of several local food trucks located in left field for all weekend series.
- ID Stations/Wristbands – Once again, beer sales will be available at Dudy Noble Field at Dudy Noble Field concession stands and portable kiosks located in concourse areas.
- Customers may purchase alcohol at concessions locations by presenting a valid ID OR by displaying an alcohol ID pre-check wristband at the time of purchase.
- Advanced Alcohol ID Check & Wristband locations will be at the Home Plate Gate and Right-Field Plaza area. ID checks for alcohol sales transactions will be optional for customers at concessions sales locations. Wristbands will not be issued at sales locations.
- Sales will end in the middle of the 7th inning.

RIBBON BOARDS
One of the most noticeable enhancements to the overall fan experience is the installation of new ribbon board displays, making it possible for fans to follow along with statistics and in-game elements from any location inside The Dude. The new ribbon videoboards run the entire grandstands at 477' in length and 3'-10" in height.Â

BULLY'S KIDS ZONE
The 2022 season will see the return of Bully's Kids Zone in the right-field area of Dudy Noble Field! The Kids Zone will feature a bounce house as well as hitting and pitching stations for young Diamond Dawg fans to participate in while watching State throughout the season.Â

STATE STYLE
State Style will be adding a variety of MSU gear and merchandise as well as a distinctive baseball-specific collection that will be released at Friday's season opener versus Long Beach State.Â

DAWGS WIN AGAIN…RAISE THE FLAG!
Starting in 2022, Mississippi State will select a "Dude of the Game" for each home game who will be recognized during the contest and have the opportunity to raise a brand new "Dawgs Win Again" flag following the final out of each home victory by the Diamond Dawgs.Â

"THE DUDE" WALL PHOTO-OP
A large mural depicting the traditions behind Mississippi State baseball will be located down the left-field line this season with fans having the opportunity to take photos in front of "The Dude"-themed mural.Â

ADKERSON PLAZA
In order to improve sight lines, the brick wall in Adkerson Plaza has been lowered for a better viewing experience for all fans located in the right field area.Â
