FORT MYERS, Florida -Â Mississippi State will play for a non-conference tournament championship as the Bulldogs battle Utah during Wednesday's final at the Fort Myers Tipoff.
In the lone previous meeting betwen the two schools, the Bulldogs knocked off Utah, 78-64, to punch their ticket to the 1995 NCAA Tournament Sweet 16. Darryl Wilson (32 points, 7 rebounds, 3 steals) and Erick Dampier (21 points, 10 rebounds, 8 blocks) led the way for State.
