Madness at McCarthy

STARKVILLE – In preparation for the exciting 2022-23 basketball season, Mississippi State's men's and women's basketball programs will host 'Madness At McCarthy' in historic McCarthy Gymnasium on campus.
Admission for the event is FREE. As at previous Maroon Madness events, the clear bag policy will be in effect.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early as the event is expected to quickly reach full capacity (2,000). DOORS WILL CLOSE ONCE CAPACITY IS REACHED.
The first 500 students in attendance will receive a free Madness at McCarthy t-shirt. Five lucky students will also have the opportunity to compete in various on-court activities for a chance to win a total of $50,000.
TIMELINE OF EVENTS
6 p.m. - Parking lots around McCarthy Gymnasium open
7 p.m. - Doors for Madness at McCarthy open
8 p.m. - Madness at McCarthy tips off
- Women's Basketball Skills Competition
- Men's Basketball Dunk Contest
- Combined 3-Point Contest
- Student Competition
9 p.m. - Event concludes
PARKING
Parking for the event will be located in the lots around McCarthy Gymnasium and will open at 6 p.m.
ALL VEHICLES MUST BE MOVED OUT OF THE LOTS 90 MINUTES AFTER THE EVENT
ENTRY
Fans can enter McCarthy Gymnasium through the east or west entrance.
Students must enter through the west entrance.
Non-wheelchair ADA is available through the east entrance.Wheelchair ADA is available through the south entrance.
