FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Five personal-best and three season-best performances carry the Bulldogs to secure two top-3 finishes in the Pentathlon. Shayla Broughton finished first with 4,122 points, a new personal best for the Bulldog, and effectively secured the second best all-time performance in Mississippi State women's indoor history. The personal mark she broke now sits at third best in school history. Asia Poe's 4,039 points gave her a third-place finish in the event. The redshirt junior now holds the fifth best all time performance.

The fun didn't stop there, as redshirt junior Cameron Crump tied a 31-year-old school record in the men's long jump. His 7.86m mark secured a second-place finish for MSU.
