PREVIEW: Women’s Basketball Hits the Road for an In-State Showdown at Ole Miss

STARKVILLE – Mississippi State and Ole Miss will meet for the 101st time in the series rivalry on Sunday. The Bulldogs will hit the pavement and head to Oxford for the first time since the 2019-20 season in one of the more highly anticipated matchups between the two programs. Both teams will be wearing shirts honoring Pat Summit as part of the SEC's "We Back Pat" week.

• This is the 101st meeting in the all-time series between the two programs.
• Ole Miss leads the all-time series 63-37 with a 32-15 advantage when played at Ole Miss.
• Mississippi State enters the contest on a 14-game winning streak that started on Feb. 23, 2014
• The last time MSU fell to Ole Miss was Jan. 23, 2014, in Oxford, when Ole Miss won 87-85 in overtime.
• Last season, the two teams were only able to play once, in Starkville, due to weather canceling the second meeting scheduled for Oxford.
