
Richardson Set for Regular Season FIBA 3x3 Finale In Montreal

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Breanna Richardson will represent Team USA at the FIBA 3x3 Women's Word Series stop in Montreal, Canada, Sept. 3-4. This will be Richardson's third-consecutive FIBA 3x3 tournament wearing the Red, White and Blue.Â
Richardson, a native of Conyers, Georgia, will be joined in Montreal by 3x3 veterans Jordan Reynolds (Tennessee/Portland, Ore.) and Hailey Van Lith (Louisville/Wenatchee, Wash.) as well as USA Basketball newcomer Camille Zimmerman (Columbia/Mesa, Ariz.).
Team USA will open the Montreal stop of the FIBA 3x3 Women's Series on Sept. 3 with three games in group A. They will get things started at 12:50 p.m. CT when they battle Germany before taking on Austria at 2 p.m. CT. They will close out the first day of competition against the Netherlands at 4:50 p.m. CT. The winner of group A will advance directly to the Sept. 4 semifinals, where they will await the winner of the second and third-place game.
Team USA is ranked eighth in the tour standings with 160 points following its latest competition in Constanta, Romania. The top seven teams in the standings, plus the host nation of Romania, will earn an invitation to the Series Final, which will be played Sept. 18-19 in Bucharest, Romania.

Mississippi State racked up a 111-34 record during Richardson's four seasons in the Maroon and White from 2013-14 to 2016-17. The Bulldogs made two NCAA Final Four trips, headed by a 34-5 mark and a National Championship Game appearance during her senior season.Â
Richardson amassed 1,110 career points and 727 career rebounds. The 1,110 points are 20th, while her 727 rebounds sit 10th in program history. One of the most memorable moments of her State career was her go-ahead three-pointer with 34 seconds left during a 74-72 win over Michigan State that secured an NCAA Sweet 16 berth during her junior season in 2015-16.Â
