Mississippi State Postpones Soccer Match With Southern Miss
September 10, 2021 | Soccer
STARKVILLE – Mississippi State's soccer program has been forced to postpone Friday night's match with Southern Miss due to COVID protocols.
Despite 96 percent of the Bulldogs' student-athletes, coaches and staff being vaccinated, breakthrough cases have necessitated the postponement. A makeup date for the contest has not been set.
MSU is scheduled to play at home on Sunday, Sept. 12 against Belmont. That match is currently set to be played as scheduled pending the results of additional testing. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. CT with the game airing on SEC Network+.
