Track Ready to Host 2021 Maroon & White Invite

The meet will take place at the Mike Sanders Track and Field Complex on April 30 and May 1.
STARKVILLE – The Mississippi State track and field program is set to host the 2021 Maroon & White Invite on Friday, April 30 and Saturday, May 1 at the Mike Sanders Track Complex.

The second home meet of the season for the Bulldogs, and the last meet of the regular season welcomes Arkansas State, Harding, Hinds CC, ULM, Little Rock, Meridian CC, Ole Miss, Southern Miss, Troy, and UAB to Starkville.

The meet will start off on Friday at noon with the women's hammer, with the men's following. Also included in the meet program for the day, in order, are the high jump, discus, long jump, 800m invite, 200m, 1500m invites, and 5000m.

Saturday's action begins again with the field events at 11 a.m. with the women's pole vault. The meet continues, in order, with shot put, men's javelin, 4x100m relays, 1500m, men's pole vault, triple jump, 100 and 110 hurdles, 800m, women's javelin, 100m, 400m, 400m hurdles, and ends the day with the 4x400m relays.

The team will be celebrating 24 seniors, including two of the team's managers, on Saturday before the 4x400m relays run.
