Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital Patient of the Week: Cameron Harris
March 16, 2021 | Baseball
Le Bonheur Children's Hospital Patient of the Week is a partnership between Le Bonheur and the Mississippi State Bulldogs to acknowledge extraordinary pediatric patients.
This week's Le Bonheur Children's Hospital Patient of the Week is Cameron Harris of Tupelo, Miss.
When Cameron was 4 months old, he struggled to drink his bottle and his lips would begin turning blue. After several trips to the doctor, he was sent to Le Bonheur where his mom learned that he had Laryngomalacia —a congenital softening of the tissues of the larynx above the vocal cords. Doctors at Le Bonheur worked with his mother on a plan and helped calm any nerves and worries she had for her son.
Today, Cameron is 14 and in the eighth grade at Tupelo Middle.
Cameron loves to play football, basketball and running track. When he is not playing a sport, Cameron enjoys music and dancing.
Thank you for being our Le Bonheur Patient of the Week, Cameron! Your friends at Le Bonheur are cheering for you!
