PREVIEW: Women’s Basketball Set For Busy Weekend Inside The Hump

STARKVILLE – Mississippi State women's basketball will play three games in three days as part of its four-team round-robin style event this weekend inside Humphry Coliseum. The multi-team event (MTE) will begin on Saturday and conclude Monday afternoon.

Weekend Promotions

• Sunday, Dec. 19: Fans can purchase tickets for just $1 for Sunday's TV game vs Jackson State. Tickets must be purchased online and in advance of Sunday's matchup.

MSU Milestones to Watch
• Myah Taylor has earned 345 assists in her career. She is just seven assists shy of passing Diamber Johnson (351) for ninth on the all-time career assists list.
• Taylor is averaging 3.6 assists per game in her career, ranking 6th all-time in program history if the season ended today.
• Jackson is 48 points shy of 1,000 for her career. She will become just the 24th member of the 1,000-point club at MSU.
• Anastasia Hayes is nine assists shy of 400 career assists.
• JerKaila Jordan is just 13 points shy of 600 in her career.
Series Histories
• vs Troy: Mississippi State leads the all-time series 14-2 while winning the last seven matchups. This will be the third straight season that Troy and MSU have met. In each of the last three meetings, the Bulldogs have scored at least 100 points.
• vs Jackson State: Mississippi State leads the all-time series 16-11 while winning the five matchups. This will be the fourth straight season that JSU and MSU have met and the fifth time since 2013.
• vs South Carolina State: This is the first meeting between the two programs.
