- Leach has five career AP-ranked victories at MSU, which ranks fourth among all Bulldog head coaches. He needed just 21 games to reach five ranked wins, making him the fastest MSU coach to do so.

- Leach has now reached 18 bowl games in 20 years as a head coach and has made the postseason in each of the last seven years including 2021.

- WR Makai Polk has tied Fred Ross' (2015) MSU single-season record with 88 catches this season. With 891 receiving yards, he is one of five Bulldogs to eclipse 800 receiving yards through 11 games since 2000. He already ranks 10th in MSU single-season history.Â
