STARKVILLE – The Mississippi State women's golf team finalized its 2020 fall schedule on Wednesday, as the Bulldogs are set compete in the 48th annual Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic, hosted by Georgia.
Originally canceled in March, this event will now be contested this fall as one of three Southeastern Conference women's golf events. On November 6-8, SEC teams will compete in the three-day, 54-hole event at the University of Georgia Golf Course.
The Bulldogs open their season by traveling to Fayetteville, Arkansas, for the Blessings Collegiate Invitational on October 5-7. The tournament will be broadcasted on the GOLF Channel from 3:30-6:30 p.m. CT each day.
After that, Mississippi State will host its annual home tournament, now known as The Ally in honor of former Mississippi State golfer Ally McDonald Ewing, once again this fall on October 19-21 at Old Waverly Golf Club. During her time at State, she was recognized as an All-American, All-SEC player and set numerous program records. The Fulton, Mississippi, native has represented the program on the LPGA Tour for the last five years and was selected to compete in last year's prestigious Solheim Cup.
The Bulldogs' spring schedule will be announced at a later date.
