State Named United Soccer Coaches Academic Award Recipient

The Bulldogs have earned the award three out of the last four years.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Bulldogs of Mississippi State soccer have earned the United Soccer Coaches' Academic Award for 2019, announced Thursday (9/24).
State's soccer program has now earned the recognition 11 times since its inception in 1996, and three times in the last four years.
A total of 889 soccer teams (333 men, 556 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2019-20 academic year.
The Bulldogs recorded a 3.50 grade-point average as a team in the 2019 season, improving from the 3.34 GPA from the year prior.Â
Mississippi State will play at Alabama on Friday night in Starkville. Kickoff at the MSU Socce Field is set for 6 p.m. CT on the SEC Network.
