Bulldogs Announce Attendance Information for Soccer
September 23, 2020 | Soccer
STARKVILLE – Mississippi State has announced attendance information for the four soccer matches to be held on campus at the MSU Soccer Complex in 2020. The Bulldogs will start the home slate with Alabama on Friday, Sept. 25 at 6 p.m. CT.
The east and west side gates to the grandstand will open one hour before kick-off. Capacity at the Soccer Complex will be limited to 25%. Spaced seating will be available on the berms on either side of the grandstand, as well as the area behind the west end goal. Limited seating will be available in the grandstands themselves. The spaced seating has been laid out in the form of painted circles on the berms, with a total of 133 circles painted on either side of the grandstand and behind the goal. The circles are six feet in diameter and can hold up to four individuals from the same household group.
Tailgating is not permitted at soccer due to the Mississippi Governor's Executive Order 1519 which prohibits tailgating, picnics, fanfare areas, and the like on match days.
Proof of Pudding will be open an hour prior to kick to provide concessions and will only be accepting cashless transactions for the 2020 season. Their menu will include the following: Smoked Pork Sandwich, Country Pleasin' Smoked Sausage, Hot Dog, Nachos, Bavarian Pretzel, Chips, Candy, Coca-Cola products, Dasani Water, and for the first time at the Complex, domestic beer will also be sold. For alcohol purchases, a valid ID is required, and there will be a limit of two beverages per transaction. Alcohol sales will conclude with 15 minutes remaining in the match.
Fans who cannot make it to the field in person can purchase a State Stand-In to place in the stands this season. Cutouts are available for purchase from MaroonMemories.com, with the Bulldog Package for soccer being priced at $30. More information on State Stand-Ins can be found here.
Enhanced cleaning and sanitation procedures are occurring throughout the stadium prior to and during all games. All spectators will need to conduct a self-screening prior to leaving their homes. This includes a temperature check and review of potential coronavirus symptoms. If any of these symptoms are present or a fever of 100.4 degrees or higher is present, please stay home. Mississippi State has placed ample hand sanitizing stations and increased directional signage to help encourage physical distancing.
