Baseball Cancels Tuesday Contest with Samford

Diamond Dawgs cancel Tuesday contest with Samford due to impending weather

STARKVILLE – After a perfect opening weekend, the Mississippi State baseball program and head coach Chris Lemonis have announced that the scheduled midweek contest with Samford on Tuesday, February 18 has been canceled due to impending weather.

After opening the season with a 3-0 record in front of 28,688 fans over the three games, State will now host Oregon State in a three-game series beginning on Friday, February 21 at 4 p.m. The series will also feature a 2 p.m. first pitch on Saturday, February 22 and a 1 p.m. start on Sunday, February 23.

Updated ticket information will be made available at a later date on HailState.com.

While reserved seating season tickets are sold out for the 34th straight season, general admission/standing room only season tickets are available for a cost of $199. GA/SRO season tickets can be purchased at the Mississippi State Ticket Office, located in the Bryan Building off of Lakeview Drive. Tickets can also be purchased by calling 1-888-GO-DAWGS or online at hailstate.com/tickets.
