Women’s Golf Completes Second Round at The Blessings

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Mississippi State women's golf team finished the second round of The Blessings Collegiate Invitational on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs improved their team score from the first day by nine strokes, carding a 308 at the challenging Blessings Golf Club. State will enter the final round in 13th.
Leading State, Clara Moyano shot her second 3-over par 75 of the event to be tied at 24th. After a tough first round, redshirt sophomore Hannah Levi and senior Aubree Jones-Wilkes both improved their scores by six shots, shooting 5-over par in the second round.
Sophomore Abbey Daniel is tied for 56th after carding a 7-over par 79, while junior Lauren Miller shot 9-over par 81 to enter the final round at 55th.
State returns to the course on Wednesday to complete the final round of The Blessings Invitational.
