TUCSON, Ariz. – Mississippi State men's golf recorded their second consecutive top-five finish, taking fifth at the Arizona Intercollegiate. Seniors Garrett Johnson and Peng Pichaikool led the way both finishing in the top 15.
Â
"Really pleased with the response we had today as a team," head coach Dusty Smith said. "Peng did a great job setting the tone, and we had some big rounds from Austin Vukovits, Hunter Logan and Ford Clegg. Garrett was steady all week. Â
As a team, the Bulldogs finished seven strokes ahead of No. 44 ranked Long Beach State.
