Armstrong Announces Spring Soccer Schedule

STARKVILLE – Fans will have seven opportunities to see the Mississippi State soccer team in action this spring. Five of the Bulldogs exhibitions will be played in Starkville.
State returns to the pitch on Feb. 23 at South Alabama. When the teams met in the fall, MSU claimed a 1-0 victory despite playing the majority of the match short-handed following a red card.
The following weekend, the Bulldogs will play a double-header at home on Feb. 29. After starting the day with an 11 a.m. CT kickoff against Mississippi College, the Bulldogs will meet MSU's men's club team at 1 p.m.
James Armstrong's squad will play three matches in March, including two at home. State hosts the Toronto Blizzard at 3:30 p.m. on March 17 before hosting SEC-foe Auburn on March 21 at 1 p.m. The Bulldogs will make a final spring road trip on March 28 to play at Southern Miss.
The exhibition slate wraps up with a match against UAB on April 4 at 1 p.m.
The Bulldogs are coming off their first SEC Tournament appearance in 15 years and will begin Armstrong's second season at the helm in the fall of 2020.
