Soccer Returns to Starkville on Saturday

STARKVILLE – Mississippi State will close the soccer preseason with a home exhibition match on Saturday afternoon (Aug. 17) against in-state foe Southern Miss.
The first on-campus athletic event of the 2019-20 academic year will kick off at 4 p.m. CT. Free pizza is available for freshmen beginning at 3:15 p.m. Additionally, fans can earn 150 Hail State Rewards points and 150 Bully's Kids Club points for attending.
The two teams met in the spring with the Bulldogs claiming a 4-3 victory in exhibition play on the back of junior AK Ward's hat trick.
State will open the regular season at home on Aug. 22 when the Bulldogs host Alabama A&M at 6 p.m. That match will air live on SEC Network+.
