Moorhead, who enters his second season, will speak at the main podium at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday live on SEC Network. He is also scheduled to make live appearances on the SEC Network set at approximately 2:25 p.m., Sirius XM Radio at 4:20 p.m. and The Paul Finebaum Show at 4:40 p.m.
The annual event features hundreds of media members throughout the nation. Players take turns visiting different rooms from print media to video and radio, including CBS, ESPN and Sirius XM.
For Thompson and Williams the visit will be extra special. Both are Alabama natives with Williams being from nearby Bessemer and Thompson from Florence. The two were selected team captains by their peers earlier this spring and are all-star candidates for the Bulldogs in 2019.
Thompson ranked second on the team in total tackles (87) and tied for third in tackles for loss (9.0) en route to All-SEC honors as sophomore. Williams, a preseason All-American, makes the move over to center this year after starting 12 games at guard at a year ago. Green enters his fifth year with the program having played 38 games with 21 career starts.
Meanwhile, several Bulldogs joined Moorhead on Tuesday afternoon and evening in Jackson. The team visited with patients at the Batson Children's Hospital before signing autographs at the annual Central Mississippi Chapter Summer Extravaganza.
State opens preseason camp on Aug. 2 in preparation for the Aug. 31 season-opener against Louisiana in New Orleans. Tickets for the 2019 season and opener can be purchased at HailState.com/Tickets, by calling 1-888-GO-DAWGS or in person at the MSU Athletic Ticket Office on the first floor of the Bryan Athletic Administration Building (288 Lakeview Drive), Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
