Nine Bulldogs Playing for Club Teams This Summer

STARKVILLE – Nine members of Mississippi State's 2019 soccer roster will spend their summers playing with club teams across the country. Six will compete in the Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL).
Sophomore Miranda Carrasco and freshman Katie Moore will play with the Charlotte Lady Eagles. The pair started the club's first match of the year, a 2-0 victory over Charleston Fleet FC.
Junior AK Ward, who had a hat trick in State's final spring game, is spending her summer with Texas Spurs FC in the Red River division of the WPSL's central region. Bulldog signee Sam Stiglmair will also play in the Red River division for the TTI Bluebonnets. Stiglmair scored in the club's first match of the year, a 4-2 win against the Texas Titans.
State's final pair in the WPSL will spend their time in the west region. Junior Olivia Hernandez is playing for Phoenix Del Sol in the region's Pac South division. Senior Hailey Zerbel is playing in the Coastal division with Legends FC.
Freshman Madison Cotta, who was an early enrollee this spring, has returned to her club team, Clovis Crossfire, where she added the NorCal State Cup Championship to her resume this week. Ryann Mushkin, another freshman early enrollee, will play for NYSC this summer.
Sophomore Andrea Tyrrell will return to Canada to play for Richmond Hill Soccer Club in the Ontario Women's Soccer League and League 1.
