Baseball Modifies Weekend Schedule at Texas A&M

Diamond Dawgs and Aggies play single game Friday (4 p.m.) and Saturday doubleheader (Noon)
COLLEGE STATION, Texas – With rain continuing in the Brazos Valley, the Mississippi State baseball program and Texas A&M have announced another change to the weekend schedule. The two teams will now play a single game on Friday (May 3), followed by a doubleheader on Saturday (May 4).

The two teams will now play a single nine-inning game on Friday starting at 4 p.m. That game will be carried on the SEC Network+ and Mississippi State Radio Network. On Saturday (May 4) the Bulldogs and Aggies will play a pair of seven-inning games (per SEC travel policy) beginning at 2 p.m. Saturday's first game will air live on the SEC Network, with Clay Matvick and Chris Burke calling the action, while game two will air on SEC Network+. Both games will be carried on the Mississippi State Radio Network.

After Thursday's (May 2) contest was rained out, the two teams hoped to play a doubleheader on Friday (May 3), however more rain in College Station threatened that.
