Pichaikool Named to GCAA/PING All-Region Team

STARKVILLE – After finishing his stellar junior campaign with a tied for tenth finish at the NCAA Louisville Regional, Mississippi State men's golf student-athlete Peng Pichaikool was named to the GCAA PING All-Southeast Region Team Saturday for the second time in his career.
Pichaikool finished the season with a 71.15 stroke average, tying his career-best mark from his freshman season and the second-best mark in program history. Pichaikool was also named to the all-region team as freshman.
As a junior, Pichaikool led the Golf Dawgs in stroke average and top-15 finishes (7). He also began the season on a run of six consecutive top-15s, carding two runner-up performances in that span.
Among Peng Pichaikool's most notable accomplishments, in March, Pichaikool was also selected to the prestigious Arnold Palmer Cup International Team. The Bangkok, Thailand native will begin play Friday, June 7, at the Alotian Club in Roland, Arkansas.
