STARKVILLE – Mississippi State soccer coach James Armstrong and his staff are excited to host four camps in their first summer in Starkville. The Bulldog staff will hold two youth camps, a team camp and an Elite Prospect ID camp.
For the younger members of the Bulldog Family, MSU will host two separate youth camps. Children entering Pre-K through eighth grade will get their first opportunity to participate on June 3-7. They can also sharpen their skills at the second session on June 17-21.
Both camps offer full-day and half-day options. The full-day camp includes lunch and an afternoon of swimming at MSU's Sanderson Center.
Players have the opportunity to learn from the MSU coaching staff, which will lead training sessions at the team and elite prospect ID camps. Team Camp will be held July 8-11. Teams have the option of staying on campus or commuting. State welcomes all teams of girls' entering the seventh through 12th grades. Lunches will be provided to all campers.
To close out the summer MSU is offering its third Elite ID Camp of 2019 on July 19-21. Campers can choose a residential or commuting option and the curriculum is structured to expose players to the demands of the college game. Sessions are designed to develop the camper's technical and tactical abilities through functional and position specific training.
Players must be in the eighth through 12th grades to participate in the Elite ID Camp. All grades are as of Fall 2019. All camps are held at the state-of-the-art MSU Soccer Field and the Bulldogs' 3,000 square foot clubhouse.
Registration is now open online at HailStateCamps.com/soccer. For more information on any MSU soccer camp, contact volunteer assistant coach Allison Whitworth at awhitworth@athletics.msstate.edu.
Per NCAA rules, sports camps are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender). Representatives of our athletics interests (boosters) cannot pay camp registration fees or provide other expenses for a prospect to attend camp. Mississippi State University does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation or group affiliation, age, disability, or veteran status.
