Spring Exhibition with Southern Miss Postponed to Sunday

STARKVILLE – Due to the threat of inclement weather, Mississippi State's exhibition soccer match over Super Bulldog Weekend has been postponed.
Originally scheduled for Saturday ahead of the Maroon and White football game, the Bulldogs will now kick off against Southern Miss at 1 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is free for all fans.
Head coach James Armstrong will get his first taste of leading the Bulldogs in Starkville after guiding his young squad to a victory and a draw in its first two exhibitions of the spring.
The Bulldogs are coming off their first NCAA Tournament appearance in program history and set a new program attendance record last year when 1,402 fans packed the hillside and grandstand to watch MSU defeat then-No. 13 South Carolina in overtime.
State will close the spring schedule on Thursday, April 18 with a final exhibition match against Mississippi College at 5 p.m.
