Baseball Moves Saturday Game Time versus LSU

Mississippi State and LSU will now throw the first pitch at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 30
STARKVILLE – With thunderstorms scheduled to arrive in the Starkville area late on Saturday, March 30, the Mississippi State baseball program has announced that first pitch for its contest against LSU will now be at 1 p.m. at Dudy Noble Field

The Diamond Dawgs grabbed a series-opening, 6-5, victory over the Tigers on Thursday evening in front of the largest Thursday night crowd in program history (9,797). A national television audience was also able to view the game from the Left Field Lofts, as Tom Hart and Kyle Peterson called the game on ESPNU from one of the 12, two-bedroom lofts located at the Carnegie Hall of College Baseball.

The two teams will square off at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 29 evening on the SEC Network, with Hart and Peterson calling the action from the broadcast booth inside Dudy Noble Field.
