State Adds In-State Exhibition with Mississippi College to Spring Schedule

STARKVILLE – Mississippi State women's soccer has added a second home exhibition match to the spring schedule. The Bulldogs will host Mississippi College on April 18 at 5 p.m. CT.
The Lady Choctaws finished the 2018 season ranked No. 14 in the Division II United Soccer Coaches' poll. Mississippi College advanced to the NCAA Division II Sweet Sixteen, making its deepest postseason run in school history.
With the addition of the Lady Choctaws, MSU's spring schedule once again features four games. Inclement weather forced the cancellation of the Bulldogs' scheduled matchup with Arkansas.
The Dawgs open spring play on Sunday at Memphis with kickoff set for 3 p.m. MSU will then travel to Orange Beach, Alabama, the annual site of the SEC Tournament to meet Florida on a neutral field. State's other home exhibition will take place on Super Bulldog Weekend when Southern Miss visits on April 13 at 11 a.m.
