Baseball to Play Doubleheader on Saturday at Florida

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – With a near 70 percent chance of rain to end the weekend, the Mississippi State baseball program will play a doubleheader against Florida on Saturday (March 16) at McKethan Stadium starting at 1 p.m. CT.

The first game of the doubleheader will air on the SEC Network and the second game will be available on the SEC Network+, with the second game starting approximately 45 minutes after the first game. You can also listen to Jim Ellis on the Mississippi State Baseball Radio Network for both games.

Mississippi State enters the day on a 13-game winning streak after taking a 6-5 victory in the series opener on Friday (March 15). The winning streak is tied for the fifth-longest streak in school history, equaling the marks of the 1970, '76, '79, '81, '99 and 2015 teams.
