STARKVILLE – The Southeastern Conference's leading rusher this season, Mississippi State running back Kylin Hill landed on the 2019 All-SEC Coaches' Second Team on Tuesday.
Hill, who was a first-teamer by The Associated Press on Monday, joins Anthony Dixon (2009) and Josh Robinson (2014) as the only running backs in MSU history to earn All-SEC honors from both the AP and SEC coaches since the inception of the coaches' team in 1999.
A native of Columbus, Mississippi, Hill finished the regular season with eight 100-yard rushing games, tying the single-season school record. He needs just 45 rushing yards to set the school single-season record, which is currently owned by Dixon (1,391 in 2009).
Hill's 1,347 rushing yards in 12 games this year lead the SEC and rank eighth in the Power 5 among running backs. He is one of seven Power 5 running backs with 1,300-plus rushing yards and 10-plus rushing touchdowns this season.
Tickets for the Music City Bowl are on sale now at HailState.com/bowltickets. MSU's ticket allotment and team bench is located on the east side of Nissan Stadium. Reserved lower level tickets are $85, while 200 level club seats are available for $120.
