STARKVILLE – A preseason All-American and candidate for both the Rimington and Outland Trophies, center Darryl Williams is a tremendous ambassador for the Mississippi State football program and representative of the state. Williams, nicknamed "The Big General" by his teammates, embodies everything the program and MSU stand for and aim to achieve. He is widely respected by his teammates and coaches and was voted a team captain. He is the ultimate leader and competitor constantly working to master his craft and get the most out of himself and his peers.
