STARKVILLE – Mississippi State wraps its four-game homestand to begin the 2019-20 season and plays host to New Orleans in a Sunday matinee at Humphrey Coliseum.

METAL DETECTORS/CLEAR BAGS
In an effort to continue Mississippi State's long-standing commitment to provide a safe and secure environment for all fans, coaches and student-athletes, walk-through metal detectors have been implemented at all entrances of Humphrey Coliseum on basketball gamedays.
Fans will be asked to follow the instructions of the security screening staff and place large metal objects such as phones, keys and cameras in containers or in their clear bag on screening tables before passing through the walk-through metal detectors.
Fans will not be required to remove belts, watches, wallets, jewelry, shoes, jackets, coins or other small objects. The metal detectors and clear bag policies provide a safer atmosphere and speed up the entry process into The Hump.

PROMOTIONS/TICKETS/ACCESS PASS
Fans can receive free admission to Sunday's game by bringing a canned food item to the ticket office at Humphrey Coliseum. Sunday's food promotional item is free beignets with a toppings bar between portals F and G on the concourse while supplies last. Other promotions include 150 Hail State Rewards points for students and 150 points for Bully's Kids Club members.
General Admission seating is now available at Humphrey Coliseum for men's basketball. Tickets can be purchased in advance for only $5 at www.HailState.com/tickets or in person staring 90 minutes before tipoff for $10 at the Humphrey Coliseum Box Office. Discounted online purchasing also ends two hours prior to tip time for each game.
Mississippi State is offering a pair of new fan-focused season ticket options for the 2019-20 season which includes the addition of general admission seating to men's basketball. A traditional general admission season ticket for seats in designated areas of the 200 level are available for only $155, while reserved seat season tickets are available for $275.
The second offering is a first-of-its-kind mobile access season ticket, the mobile access pass. This new ticketing option will provide exclusive access to already-sold lower level seats during non-conference games inside Humphrey Coliseum, and a 200 level general admission ticket for all conference games.
During non-conference play, fans with the mobile access pass will be digitally delivered a general admission ticket for a designated lower level section each game and will have access to sit in any open seat within that designated section. FIVE THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT MISSISSIPPI STATE
1. Mississippi State dialed up its third straight victory to open 2019-20 and pushed the SEC's leading non-conference home winning streak to 25 straight games as the Bulldogs led wire-to-wire during a 62-45 win against Louisiana-Monroe on Thursday. Four players fueled a balanced scoring attack headed by sophomores Reggie Perry and Robert Woodard II who combined for 27 points. Perry corralled his second straight double-double with 14 points and equaled a career-high 14 rebounds whereas Woodard II matched his career-best with 13 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Iverson Molinar and D.J. Stewart joined the duo with 10 points apiece.
2. Mississippi State's defense has limited its opponents to 51.5 points per game, a 36.2 field goal percentage and swatted 6.0 blocks per game over its last two games. The 45 points allowed to ULM was the second-lowest total of the Ben Howland era and lowest since the Bulldogs surrendered just 44 points to Southern Miss on Dec. 19, 2016 in Jackson.
3. Reggie Perry is a preseason All-America selection by Lindy's (First Team), Street & Smith (Second Team) and Athlon Magazines (Third Team) in addition to being named a consensus All-SEC First-Team honoree. He is coming off a sensational summer where he won a gold medal and captured tournament MVP honors with the USA U19 Team at the 2019 FIBA World Cup in Greece. Perry also had the opportunity to attend the NBA Draft Combine and workout for several NBA franchises. He turned in his SEC-leading 11th career double-double among SEC active players with 14 points and matched his career mark with 14 rebounds versus ULM. Perry is the only MSU player to score in double figures during all three games this season and his 11.7 rebounds per game are tied for second on the SEC leaderboard.
4. Tyson Carter has improved his points, rebounds, assists and steals average over his first three seasons at Mississippi State. The senior guard has started 2019-20 with a bang as the Starkville native ranks among the SEC's top 10 with 19.0 points (8th), 4.3 assists (T-9th) and 3.0 steals (T-3rd). He also has connected on 2.7 trey per game (T-4th) at a 47.1 percent rate (T-3rd). Carter enters Sunday's action 22 points shy of becoming the 40th player in program history and seventh under Ben Howland to reach 1,000 career points.
5. Abdul Ado has garnered a trio of multi-block efforts and leads the SEC with 3.7 rejections per game … His 3.7 BPG also rank 13th nationally … Ado has piled up 135 career blocks over his first 70 career games and has climbed up to eight place on MSU's all-time list … His 1.92 career BPG are third in program history only behind legendary shot blockers Jarvis Varnado (2007-08-09-10) and Erick Dampier (1994-95-96) … Robert Woodard II has improved his scoring output over his first three games and his 13 points versus ULM tied a career-high … He has provided back-to-back games of 10-plus points for the first time in his career … Iverson Molinar and D.J. Stewart Jr. have accounted for double figures in two of their first three games of their MSU careers … Stewart Jr.'s 11.0 points per game are third on the team, and he has accounted for 33 of MSU's 42 bench points this season … Molinar and Stewart Jr. chipped in 10 points apiece and were an efficient 7-of-11 combined shooting during the ULM game … KeyShawn Feazell has been a solid rotation player with 2.7 points and 4.7 rebounds per game … He collected a career-high nine rebounds against Sam Houston State in 21 minutes of court time … Mississippi State will be without Nick Weatherspoon who came away with 9.6 points per game last season due to a violation of team rules … He is scheduled to make his season debut versus New Mexico State on Dec. 22 in Jackson.

The Privateers entered the season as the favorites to win the Southland Conference but are coming off a 77-64 loss at SMU where Troy Green registered a career-high 20 points for his second-consecutive game in double figures.
New Orleans amassed 114 points in their season opener against Spring Hill. The 114 points are the most at home and their highest scoring output since becoming a Division I member.
The Privateers are led by Bryson Robinson's 14.3 points per game. The preseason All-Southland First-Team selection has attempted 26 of his 42 shot attempts from three-point range and is tied for fifth in program history for career threes. Damion Rosser has added 13.7 points and 5.0 rebounds per game followed by Green's 13.7 points per game and Gerrale Gates' 10.7 points and 7.7 rebounds per contest for New Orleans.
