STARKVILLE – Mississippi State true freshman quarterback Garrett Shrader will make his second-ever start Saturday as the Bulldogs (3-3, 1-2 SEC) take on No. 2 LSU (6-0, 2-0) at 2:30 p.m. CT inside Davis Wade Stadium.

For the first time since the 2015 season, CBS will originate a broadcast from Davis Wade Stadium with Brad Nessler (play-by-play), Gary Danielson (analyst) and Jamie Erdahl (reporter) calling the action. Live streaming of the game will also be available here.

"SEC Nation" To Originate From The Junction
"SEC Nation," the SEC Network's traveling gameday show, will originate from the Junction from 9-11 a.m. Saturday. The show features former SEC players Tim Tebow and Marcus Spears, host Marty Smith and media personality Paul Finebaum. This will be the show's sixth trip to Starkville. Others include: 2014 (Texas A&M – Oct. 4), 2015 (Alabama – Nov. 14), 2016 (South Carolina – Sept. 10), 2017 (LSU – Sept. 16) and 2018 (Florida – Sept. 29). MSU owns a 3-2 record in home games the show appears at. The show was in attendance the last time MSU-LSU met in Davis Wade Stadium. The show also originated at MSU's road game at Auburn earlier this season.

Parking Guidelines/ADA
To encourage fans to "park & ride" MSU Transit Buses and best utilize all available public game day parking spaces, MSU has reduced all public parking prices at the Research Park, ADA North, ADA South and Vet School to $10 per vehicle. (vehicle and trailer is $20). Cash and Credit / Debit Cards are accepted at the Research Park, ADA North, ADA South, and Vet School.
All public parking lots located in the interior of campus have increased in price to $30 per vehicle, (vehicle and trailer is $60). Credit / Debit Cards Only - NO CASH will be accepted at interior campus public parking lots. These lots include Bully Grass, Barr Paved, Pace Seed Grass, Sorority Grass, Sponsored Parking behind the Health Center and Roberts Building, The University Bridge Lot, and Zacharias Village Lot.
You can advance purchase game day parking space in all public parking lots each game week by visiting www.hailstate.com/tickets. Advance sales end at 11 p.m. the day before the game.

ADA Lot D parking passes are available for online purchase during the week of each home game. You may purchase online an individual game parking pass for "Public ADA Lot D" by visiting Hailstate.com/tickets. Public ADA Lot D Parking pass sales close on Friday at 11 p.m. before the game. After purchasing online an individual game parking pass for "ADA Lot D", you simply print your parking pass at home and bring the parking pass to the game to be scanned to enter the parking lot for that day's game, you must also show your ADA hang tag or ADA license plate to access ADA Lot D. Failure to provide authentic ADA documentation for your vehicle will result in you being denied entry to ADA Lot D. If you choose this option, you will need to purchase your parking pass each week prior to that home game. There will be no "ADA Lot D" parking passes sold the day of the game or at the entrance to the parking lot.
ADA Transit Services begin 4 hrs. prior to kickoff, and service North ADA Parking Lot passengers to and from the Old Main Academic Building bus terminal, and service South ADA Parking Lot passengers to and from Newell-Grissom Building terminal. All Transit Buses operate for 2 hrs. after the end of the game.
Disability Carts will be available to provide access from ADA Transit Terminals at Old Main and Newell Grissom to designated DWS locations.

Storylines
- LSU leads the all-time series 74-35-3 since 1896. MSU recorded its largest victory ever over No.11 LSU, 37-7, in the last meeting in Starkville in 2017. It also was the Bulldogs' second-biggest margin of victory over an AP ranked team since Oct. 17, 1942 (def. No. 11 Vanderbilt).
- Three of the last five games in the series have come down to the final 2 minutes and been decided by five points or less.
- This will be the eighth time this decade that MSU has played a top-five team in Davis Wade Stadium. State has won two of its last four against top-five opponents at home. MSU's last such win was a 35-28 victory over No. 4 Texas A&M on Nov. 5, 2016.
- The Bulldogs have relied heavily on its freshmen this season. Eighteen such players (9 true, 9 redshirt) have played multiple games through the first six contests, while 15 sophomores and seven transfers (4 JUCO) have played at least one game. In addition, sixteen different Bulldogs have seen game action for the first time, while 13 have earned starts for the first time.
- The SEC's Freshman of the Week in Week 4 vs. Kentucky, true freshman QB Garrett Shrader has been solid both throwing and running in five games played. Shrader is the only SEC quarterback (1 of 7 in FBS) with 350+ rushing yards and 550+ passing yards this season.
- Behind four 100-yard rushing efforts in State's first six games, RB Kylin Hill enters Saturday's game with 609 rushing yards (2nd in SEC) and five rushing touchdowns (T-4th in SEC). He is averaging 101.5 rushing yards per game (2nd in SEC). Of Hill's 119 carries, 32 have converted a first down (leads SEC).
- Junior WR Osirus Mitchell leads the Bulldogs in touchdown catches this season with four (all have been for 20 yards or longer). Mitchell is also State's top receiver in yardage (335) and catches (24). He has at least one reception of 20+ yards in five different games. His 17 catches for a first down and 10 catches for 15+ yards lead MSU and are tied for 10th in the SEC.
- DC Bob Shoop's defense has recorded a takeaway in 22 straight games, which is the longest active streak in the nation. The streak began at Arkansas on Nov. 18, 2017. State has totaled 43 takeaways during the streak.
- S Brian Cole II leads the Bulldogs and is tied for third in the SEC in tackles for loss this season (6.5). Cole's 6.5 tackles for loss lead the SEC among defensive backs (T-3rd among FBS defensive backs).

- An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at Gates F and I.
