Mississippi State was well-represented on Wild Card Weekend as the 2019 NFL Playoffs got underway last Saturday. Eight former Bulldogs entered the postseason and now four remain in the hunt for the Super Bowl: quarterback Dak Prescott (Dallas), All-Pro defensive linemen Fletcher Cox (Philadelphia) and Chris Jones (Kansas City) and defensive lineman Denico Autry (Indianapolis).
WHAT'S NEXT?
Colts at Chiefs – AFC Divisional Playoff
Jones and the Chiefs secured a first-round bye and will host the Colts on Saturday at 3:35 p.m. CT at Arrowhead Stadium on NBC.
Cowboys at Rams – NFC Divisional Playoff
Prescott and the Cowboys will travel to Los Angeles for a playoff game for the first time in 33 years to take on the Rams on Saturday. Kickoff at Memorial Coliseum will be at 7:15 p.m. CT on FOX.
Eagles at Saints – NFC Divisional Playoff
Cox and the Eagles will head down to New Orleans on Sunday to battle the top-seeded Saints inside the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. The game will kick off at 3:40 p.m. CT on FOX.
BEST PERFORMANCES FROM WILD CARD WEEKEND
QB Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys
Prescott led Dallas to a 24-22 win over Seattle on Saturday night. He completed 66.7 percent of his passes for 226 yards with a touchdown and an interception for an 83.6 passer rating. On the ground, he finished with 29 rushing yards on six carries with the game-clinching score.
Down 6-3 late in the first half, Prescott hit Michael Gallup for an 11-yard touchdown to give the Cowboys the lead.
The highlight of the night was his 16-yard run on third-and-14 at the Seattle 17-yard line.
Prescott found the end zone on the very next play.
LB K.J. Wright, Seattle Seahawks
Wright got the start at outside linebacker and played 68 total snaps. He finished the game with eight tackles (seven solo), one tackle for loss and an interception in the end zone. He also had a team-high four stops according to Pro Football Focus.

DL Fletcher Cox, Philadelphia Eagles
Cox saw action in 54 total snaps and started at defensive tackle in the 16-15 win on Sunday. One of his two tackles was for lost yardage. He turned in three total pressures (two hurries plus one QB hit) and was solid against the run with an 80.7 grade according to Pro Football Focus.
LB Benardrick McKinney, Houston Texans
McKinney led the Texans in tackles (9) and tied for the team lead in stops (4) in the 21-7 loss to the Colts. He added a pair of quarterback hurries and finished with a 70.6 run-game grade, which was second among Texans defenders, per Pro Football Focus.
