STARKVILLE – The NFL regular season has come to a close, and it is time to take a look at how the 18 former Bulldogs who have gone #FromStateToSundays fared in Week 17 and throughout the 2018 regular season.
A trio of Bulldogs, Darius Slay, Fletcher Cox and Benardrick McKinney, were named to this season's Pro Bowl rosters. It is Cox's fourth straight Pro Bowl and Slay's second consecutive selection. McKinney was honored for the first time in his NFL career.
Cox and the Eagles clinched a playoff spot with a 24-0 win at Washington on Sunday and will have a chance to repeat as Super Bowl Champions. Cox finished the season with a stellar performance, collecting four tackles, including three sacks, and a forced fumble.
Quarterback Dak Prescott was lethal through the air as the Dallas Cowboys knocked off the New York Giants by a 36-35 final. Prescott completed 27 passes for 387 years and a season-high four touchdowns.
Veteran K.J. Wright closed the regular season with an impressive performance. Playing in just his fifth game of the season after battling an injury, Wright recorded seven tackles, matching his season high, in a 27-24 victory over Arizona.
The New York Jets activated defense back Brandon Bryant from the practice squad to the active roster on Saturday.
