From State to Sundays: 20 Former Bulldogs on 2018 NFL Rosters

STARKVILLE - With the 2018 NFL season opening on Thursday, 19 former Bulldogs have from State to Sundays. A total of 18 made their team's final 53-man roster.
Fred Ross will begin the season on injured reserved, while rookie Brandon Bryant has earned a spot on the New York Jets' practice squad.
Fletcher Cox returns for his eighth season in a Philadelphia Eagles uniforms after helping the Eagles to a 41-33 victory over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII to secure the franchise's first Super Bowl victory. Cox enters the 2018 season as the fourth highest paid defender in the league. He has amassed 281 tackles and 34.0 sacks in his career.
Darius Slay returns after leading the league with eight interceptions en route to his first Pro Bowl selection of his career. Fifty-four of Slay's 60 combined tackles last season were solo stops. Since 2000, Slay is the only player in the NFL to accumulate five tackles, two interceptions and three pass defenses twice in the same game.
K.J. Wright and Pernell McPhee are the longest tenured former Bulldogs as they begin their eighth seasons in the NFL. Wright finished last season 18th in the league with 108 tackles. Wright received an overall grade of 82.1 From Pro Football Focus, ranking him 19th among all linebackers in 2017. McPhee joins the Washington Redskins and fellow former Bulldog Preston Smith for the 2018 season.
Dak Prescott begins his third season as quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys. Prescott finished his second professional season with 3,324 passing yards, 22 passing touchdowns, 13 interceptions, 357 rushing yards and six rushing touchdowns.
Five former Bulldogs, Hunter Bradley, Logan Cooke, J.T. Gray, Martinas Rankin and Jordan Thomas, all made active roster spots.
