Bulldogs’ First Exhibition Postponed by Weather

MADISON, Wis. – Eager to start competitive play, the Mississippi State soccer team was forced to wait one more day on Thursday night after its exhibition contest at Wisconsin was postponed by inclement weather.

The two teams will make up the scrimmage on Friday morning at 8 a.m. CT. The match is closed to fans, and stats will not be kept. State will then head across the state to Milwaukee to meet Marquette for its second and final exhibition match. That game is scheduled to kick off at 8 p.m. CT on Saturday.

MSU opens the regular season at home on Aug. 16 against Southern Miss. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. with the match broadcast live on SEC Network+.
